General Rental Conditions for a furnished apartment
in the Chalet La Perle de l’Oisans in Vaujany

INTRODUCTON

The company Sarl LA GRANDTERRE, French limited liability company with capital of 282,183.13 euros, whose registered office is located at 15 rue du Caroux 38114 Vaujany (France), registered in the GRENOBLE Trade and Companies Register under no. 422 854 943, represented by Mr. Bruno AVEQUE, acting as manager, is the owner of Chalet La Perle de l’Oisans, located at 15 rue du Caroux, Vaujany, 38114.

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE

The La Perle de l’Oisans**** Chalet, owned by Sarl La Grandterre, located at 15 rue du Caroux, 38114 Vaujany in Isère-France, is made up of 11 apartments classified as 4 stars in the category of tourist furnished properties, defined by the Tourist Offices of France, the departmental federation of Isère, 14 rue de la République, 38000 GRENOBLE.

ARTICLE 2: PRICE

Prices include accommodation provision, heating, water, electricity, commissions, fees.
Any nights in addition to those provided for in the agreement are invoiced as a supplement.
City taxe is due on departure. City taxe rate is 1.76€ per adult (up to 18 yo) per day.

The following services are included in the rental price:
• Bed linen (duvets provided)
• Beds made up
• Hand towels and bath towels
• Children’s kit: Baby cot + high chair
• Cleaning pack – all cleaning products for the duration of the stay.
• Linen with washing machine and tumble dryer
• Satellite WIFI-TV
• Private parking area at the foot of the Chalet
• Free covered parking 50 m away
• Secure bicycle parking area

Optional services: the accommodation rates do not include the additional optional services offered in the catalogue and on site:
• Apart’Hôtel
• Private Shuttle
• Danish pastries and fresh bread in the morning
• Wood for the fire
• Full French breakfasts
• Special “sports” dinners
• Final cleaning
• Private ski lockers close to the ski lifts

In the event of an increase in VAT, Sarl La Grandterre reserves the right to apply this increase to its rates without prior notice and to the new rate.

ARTICLE 3: RESERVATION

Any reservation must be accompanied by the payment of a deposit corresponding to 33% of the overall rental price and any ancillary services reserved at the same time,
This payment must be sent to us within 5 working days after the reservation is made. After this period, the option will be cancelled.
Any reservation is considered definitive once it has been confirmed by us (reservation confirmation sent by email).
No reservation can be considered to be definitive if it has not been confirmed by us.
All of the rental price and any ancillary services is due one month before the arrival date for your stay. In the event of late reservation, less than 30 days before arrival, the total amount of the stay must be paid at the time of the reservation. In the event of the balance not being paid 30 days before arrival, Sarl La Grandterre reserves the right to consider that the reservation has been cancelled and consequently apply the cancellation conditions as provided for in this respect and defined below.
Bank charges for any cheque or transfer drawn or made from a foreign bank shall be borne by the reserving party and added to the amount of the reservation.

ARTICLE 4: PAYMENT CONDITIONS

• Deposit of 33% on reservation
• The balance is to be paid 30 days before the start of the rental
• Any failure to comply with the conditions of payment shall result in the pure and simple cancellation of this agreement.

ARTICLE 5 – ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The keys are provided from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. They must be handed back before 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Two sets of keys will only be handed over after payment of the balance of the rental and the security deposit. Opening times of the chalet reception desk: every day from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except Sundays, when the desk is open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Outside these times, the handing over of keys must be arranged with the Reception Desk.

ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

More than 45 days before arrival, cancellation will be invoiced at €200.
Between 45 and 30 days before arrival – cancellation will be invoiced at 33% of the amount of the rental.
Less than 30 days before arrival – cancellation will be invoiced at 100% of the amount of the rental.
All cancellations must be confirmed by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The date of receipt determines the date of amendment or cancellation of the reservation.

ARTICLE 7 – SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of €500 is to be paid upon arrival by bank card or by cheque. This security deposit, minus any possible repair costs, will be returned upon departure after an inventory carried out in the presence of both parties. The Customer is liable for any object that is broken or damaged, as well as any damage that may be caused to the facilities, in particular as a result of the incorrect handling of any electrical and heating equipment.

ARTICLE 8 – LOSS OF KEYS BY THE CUSTOMER

The Customer shall pay a fixed amount of €100 for any set of keys lost, to cover the costs of replacing the lock.

ARTICLE 9 – STATE OF CLEANLINESS OF THE APARTMENT

Bed linen and bathroom linen are provided for the length of the stay. The Customer may request that further clean linen be provided. The Customer must, upon departure, leave the apartment tidy and perfectly clean. Tableware and household appliances must also be cleaned. In the event of any failure to adhere to this clause, the Customer shall be invoiced any additional cleaning costs incurred based on the number of hours spent. A cleaning service is available in the chalet upon simple request. Customers may, at any time, request that their apartment be cleaned. The rates are displayed and available from the chalet Reception Desk. All apartments are non-smoking.

ARTICLE 10 – INVENTORY AND OCCUPANCY OF THE PREMISES

The inventory of the premises must be signed and returned by the Customer within 24 hours following their arrival, including any complaint if applicable. The premises rented must be occupied by the number of persons corresponding to the bedding provided. The occupancy dates must be scrupulously adhered to. Pets are allowed with a supplement of 70 € per week, and the final cleaning fee will apply. the Customer must sign a waiver of liability.

ARTICLE 11 – INSURANCE

Sarl La Grandterre requires the Customer to take out an insurance policy relating to this agreement.

ARTICLE 12 – INTERNAL RULES

In order to make your holiday more pleasant, a set of internal rules is provided in the Chalet.
Please read the rules and adhere to them.
Please note that it is formally prohibited to: – take skis, ski boots, sledges and any ski equipment into the apartments or put them on the balconies; hang clothing or linen out to dry on the railings of the balconies. In the event of any breach of these rules, and in case of non-compliance with the internal rules, we reserve the right to invoice a fixed amount of a minimum of €150 for any damage caused. Sarl La Grandterre shall not be held liable for any personal possessions forgotten inside the apartment when vacating the premises.
Customers are requested to regularly maintain the premises and any equipment made available to them and to observe any customary regulations applicable in condominiums, in particular those relating to not making a noise after 10:00 p.m.

ARTICLE 13 – REDUCTION OF THE LENGTH OF THE STAY

In the event that the length of the stay is shortened, for any reason whatsoever, Sarl La Grandterre shall not, under any circumstances, be required to reimburse the rental amount corresponding to such a reduction.

ARTICLE 14 – INTERRUPTION OF SERVICES

Interruptions to the operation of the general services of the building (heating, lift, Wifi, TV, etc.) do not justify a reduction in rent or damages or interest, if they are not due to a wilful act by Sarl La Grandterre.
For any matter not provided for in these rental conditions, accepted rental practices shall apply.

ARTICLE 15 – DATA PROTECTION

As part of its activity and in addition to its IT Security Policy, La Perle de l’Oisans has implemented strict dedicated processes to meet the personal data protection objectives defined by the GDPR:
– A complete analysis of the risks inherent in the organisation of data in the sense of “personal data”.
– The creation of a Record of processing operations in the format recommended by the CNIL.
– The implementation of an alert procedure for internal and external users in the event of a compromise or proven piracy of personal data.
Personal Data – The information requested from the Customer is necessary for the processing and execution of their requests.
The possession of the La Perle de l’Oisans Customer file was declared to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) in accordance with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.
La Perle de l’Oisans undertakes to protect the Customer’s personal data. All personal data collected by La Perle de l’Oisans is treated with the strictest confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended by the Law of 6 August 2004.
In accordance with the provisions of Articles 38, 39, 40, 41 and 42 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the Customer shall, at all times, have the right to access, correct or oppose personal data concerning them.
